General info: Located at the most peaceful and beautiful area of Kamari village, the mountainside of Mesa Vouno, Orion hotel offers a panoramic view of Kamari bay. Orion is a bright and cleverly designed hotel situated just 200m away from the black sandy beach of Kamari, one of the best spots to enjoy swimming in Santorini. A plethora of restaurants, bars and shops can be found nearby Orion hotel.

Hotel facilities: Within the complex guests will find a pool area with a large swimming pool, sunbathing terrace, umbrellas & sun beds, snack bar & pool towels and a grass garden area with lush plants. Furthermore guests will find a 24 hour reception desk, info desk, room service, private service, a lobby area, a hotel safe box, luggage storage room, public shower, breakfast room, living room & satellite TV, laundry and ironing service on request (extra charge).

Rooms facilities: Ground level accommodation offers a terrace or garden, while upper levels provide balconies with sea or Mountain View. All rooms are equipped with air condition, telephone, mini fridge, satellite TV, TV music channels, direct dial phone, private bathroom.

Banks
Generaly banks are opened from Monday till Thursday, from 8:30 AM to 02.00 PM, and Friday, from 8:30 AM to 01:30 PM

Clothing
We recommand that you wear thin clotes during summer months, includeing midday sun protective clothes. In the evening, may be necesary a thin sweater.

Credit cards
Credit cards can be used in almost all the hotels and shops and there are needed for car rental. For the restaurant meals, we recommand that you should have cash money too.

Health
There is no need of any vaccin.

Currency
The official currency in Greece is EURO. There are paper currency 500 EUR, 100 EUR, 50 EUR, 10 EUR si 5 EUR and coins 2 EUR, 1 EUR, 50 cents, 10 cents, 5 cents, 2 cents and 1 cent. 100 cents equals 1 EUR.

Climate
The weather in Greece is Mediterranean. During summer time, days are hot and dry, with a chill breeze, specialy in the north and costal areas. From November till March its the rainy season.
